Deleting a part from the database

I am using Datpage 5 Release and I have looked up in the user manual how to delete parts and it says right click and chose delete.

I do not have that option and the Hex Tec that was here installing it said I had full admin rights for it.

Attached is a picture of what I see when trying.

I really need to get these extra parts out because when I export to text, all the old blank dimension labels come in that had been changed at some point. Makes exporting a real pain.

  • Sometimes what I found easy. When in the process of a new part, going through all the corrections having empty variables and bad transactions. Delete the part number from database and run the study from the beginning and it will create it all over again. I have and still do the suggestions that Vinni mentions. The issue I have with this is that if I make slight changes to or added features, Datapage throws it down at the bottom of the list and not with the actual feature it was related to. Maybe like a Position, your DRF is at the top, but you made a slight adjustment. Then you have the empty slots and then it creates new "X" and "Y" at the bottom, now you can merge the 2 lines, and you will have to relate it to the most recent callout in your DMIS program. Now everything is at the bottom and your DRF is still at the top.
