I use the XMLSTATS/ON command to send xml files to our networked database. Sometimes, there is a instance where some data isn't there. Looking at the data editor in datapage, their will be a few cells here and there that are blank while others are complete. Why is that? Why didn't the data come through?
First off, are you using Xact Measure? If so, are you measuring Cylinders? I run into this all the time (very annoying). Xact measure always reports out the worst end of the cylinder. Sometimes it's the start and sometimes its the end. Datapage creates a dimension variable for each and you will have to scroll down to the bottom of the data to find it.
I am using Xact Measure. Its not just cylinders. Its seems to be random. I'll have a complete inspections and then one will have a missing dimension. Not sure if the operator used the skip feature in operator mode or if something gets lost in the transfer.
i found that program must be run without interruption, if program is stopped [canceled] and restarted, no data or data will be missing from the xml file.
