Datapage+ Use Specific Database

I don't know if this question has been asked before. I cant find anything.

I understand that Datapage uses the Part Name from the program header to generate a database for that specific program. For the most part this is fine.

But i have a need to have specific data go into specific databases.

For example:

Program name: Program-01.PRG
Part Name: 1234

Part# 1234

Dimension 1

Dimension 2

Machine Stats

Custom Value 1

Custom Value 2

How do i get datapage to import specific values to the database named Machine Stats? I know its going to automatically import to the database 1234, but i need specific values to go into another database as well.

I'm trying to figure out how to make the edits. Part of the problem is its an XML file, for at least the methods im trying to use for now. Can i change the file type that PC-DMIS uses for datapage?

I've not used the DP+, just the DP/RT, but from what I've read here (and there):

The XML file method is the external update method, right? I think you can still use the TMP file method, which is the direct method, no external update file command, and it is an ASCII text file.
