I have been noticing that when I save the statistics my tolerances from PC-DMIS on a slot feature do not transfer over to Data-Page, I have to go into Data Editor and manually enter them in. What can I do to keep from doing this?
Ok, I have two suggestions for you to try. One is the way that I do it, the other is the way the Hexagon taught me to work around their breaking things between 2011 and 5.2.
1st: Save a copy of your program (obviously :square and give it a new name up top.
- Take out the XMLStats, and any other stats/on or off stuff. The only thing you need for this is the "DataPageStats.exe" in the DataPage install folder.
- At the end of the program, "Insert>External Command... DataPageStats.exe" uncheck "Wait" and "Display".
- Hit Ctrl U on the external command line to run. (Make sure that goes into "ForStatsFiles" folder, or if your DataImporter checks somewhere else, put it there).
- Check DataPage to see if everything imported properly.
2nd: New copy of the program, different name.
- At the beginning of the program, "Insert>Statistics Command>Statistic..."
- Select Stats "On"
- Select "DataPage+"
- Check "Offline"
- Check all check boxes except for "hit".
- Hit "OK"
- Now select "Operation> "Send Current Stats to File"
- This creates a file in "User/Public Documents/Hexagon/PC-DMIS". Move it to import.
- Check your new DataPage file.
Option #2 is the way a hexatech taught me is the most correct way, but I only use it when I know that DataPageStats.exe won't work properly. And then, I only use it to create the folder in the database. After the database is created, I go back to DataPageStats.exe.

Thank you for your help, I'll start using this for now on. I have been using the XMLSTAT since we upgraded from 3.1 to 5+; a big change. I knew there was a different way but we couldn't figure it out even after going to Hexagon class. I'm hoping this works allot better but it will take a few more minutes at start.
Okay, I'm a little lost in your instructions. "DataPageStats.exe" in the DataPage install folder; not sure if I understand how to perform this, can you go into details please. DataPage is something we haven't learned much on.
At the end of the program, "Insert>External Command... DataPageStats.exe" uncheck "Wait" and "Display".
Hit Ctrl U on the external command line to run. (Make sure that goes into "ForStatsFiles" folder, or if your DataImporter checks somewhere else, put it there).
This is where we had our issues in the beginning; changing the folder location for the DataImporter is the key which we could not figure out and it seems we still can not. The path to monitor is our "User\Public\Document\Hexagon\PC-DMIS\2017 R1" folder. I'm truly not sure how to do it like you stated due to the lack of knowledge with this new DataPage.
Just right click on the DataImporter icon in the task bar, and select "Settings". Up top is the path to monitor. Select browse and set it to wherever your XML files are.
You can do the same to the "move to directory" on the MIscellaneous tab.
I haven't had the time to try this till now, I keep getting an error message reading file `DataPageStats.exe` . I followed the instructions and even changed my Data Importer path but can't seem to figure this out.
