So I finally got my new computer for other machine. Did a fresh new install of PC-DMIS and Datapage +5.2, on windows 10. So a few of us still use the External Command, Listening at the top and End at the bottom. Well if you don't install Datapage 5.0 and install 5.2, this little knickknack don't work. spent all day with Hexagon just to find this out. Now if you put External Command without -END or -E it works which takes a while to record. You have to have Data Importer 5.0 gathering info and Datapage 5.0, and it will still show up in DataPage 5.2. Now it actually seems to work fine on my windows 7 computer, even though I have both Datapages installed, I do use the Data Importer 5.2 gathering the information, results no problem. So I'm kinda guessing this might be a Windows 10 thing. Now Stats update seems to work no problem.
One more thing to add, I'm sure Hexagon will get right on this and fix it
I didn't see it, unless I missed it, but did you try uninstalling DP 5.0 and leaving just 5.2 on there? I know when I had two versions on mine, I had some issues. Also, do you have the external command path correct?

bfire85 Ok Update everyone, sorry for the delay. I was on the phone with Peter Fuller. He had full control of the computer. Results = Broken. Now He's mad at me, because he wasn't expecting to do any real work today. There is an issue that hasn't been resolved yet. He does believe that .NET Framework my be the issue, and for some reason with Windows 10. It will not truly delete it so you can do a fresh install. He believes this is the problem. So no fix yet.

But yea since pushing .net as a part of Windows directly is relatively new instead of a stand alone installer has made things a little more complicated. Someone else I know recommended that I also disable 3.5 in add remove features but I'm looking for an easy way to pull .net 4.7 and reinstall cleanly.
So There is a bit of some good news. Talked to Amanda, she told me that DataPage 6.0 works fine in Windows 10. So I guess I'll wait for that to come out before I upgrade to 10

Mr Fuller, was there ever a fix to this? I am experiencing this issue now, as well as "The version of the target database (V4.11) does not match the requested (V5.26). Please upgrade the database."
But, when I try to upgrade the database, it tells me "Column names in each table must be unique. Column name 'Name' in table 'dbo.Variable_Statistics' is specified more than once." I only see "Name" in dbo.Variable_Statistics in one column, unless it is referring to a call to the column, in which case, I don't know where it is being called.
This is a fresh installation on Windows 10. I had .Net Framework 4.8 installed already, but had to follow some other instructions (modifying group policy to allow download from Windows Update instead of WSUS) to get 3.5 installed, since DP+ was still calling 3.5 for installation. Then, I installed SQL 2008 R2 from the installation ZIP, and had problems which had to be resolved by installing the SP2 for SQL 2008.
Now, I have a database, but I still can't use DataPage...
And, obviously DataPage+ 6.0 for Windows 10 was just a joke which will never come to pass...
