I recently upgraded to 5.2 SP2 and I can't import the leader lines in through options then leader line settings. Is there a different way to import them in?
Also using PC-DMIS 2018 R1 SP3
There can be a few causes of this but you can use the data editor tab to point to where the leader line is supposed to go, but it seems more like your imported model and your measurement data don't have the same alignment.
I choose my last alignment because I report below it. I have never had trouble with it in the past.
You were saying that you can edit the lines by at ending location for leader lines. It has the correct nominal and it would seem like it would be pointing at that location instead of all at same spot.
That brings up another question. How can you bring up leader lines from several different alignments and they are point at the correct feature?
Yes, 5.2 has problems with programs that have multiple alignments. If you have features measured in one alignment and reported in another, the DataPageStats.exe doesn't work. You have to Insert>Statistics... and select DataPage+, Offline and check all of the boxes below it. Then, when that is inserted in the program, go to Operations>Send Current Stats to File.
Import this XML file into DataPage before any other files.
It's stupid because it worked before (at least, in 2011), and doesn't work now, but the DataPage people don't give a single FK. They are
not working to make DataPage better, or fix things that don't work, and they don't care what their customers want.
