  • I have been researching this for sometime now because my Boss also would like to have the capability to save instead of printing out reports. Could anyone tell me if Adobe Acrobat 5 is an acceptable PDF creator. Or will I need to use Cute pdf? Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, this IS an old resurection, but:

Adobe IS the original PDF creator. However, if you want to save a report/image from a piece of software AS an ADOBE file, you don't need to buy Adobe. The CUTEPdf writer is free to use and you install it (and I think also a converter, not sure, it's been awhile, the download site will tall you what you need) and then it is treated like a PRINTER in any applictaion that 'prints'. It simply makes a PDF file instead of a paper.
