Hi, everyone i am new to the forum. I am trying to figure out how to save the reports from my cmm programs and i am stuck does anyone know anything about it
I have created a folder called programs and reports outside of pcdmis and keep everything in there. Each part has its own folder within the programs and reports folder. In every part folder I have another folder to put all programs for that part and a folder for the reports and a folder for the bitmaps for that part. It keeps everything organized for me. After I do what is written below it goes into the right place each time I run that program
file/printing/report window print setup
1. check mark file
2. prompt
3. rich text format
4. press on the button after where you had checked file. a window will open and you can tell it where you what to send
5. after you run your part a prompt window will open letting you put a name of the file you what to use. it will also let you place the file in the place you have already told it or another place.
If you have a later ver of pcdmis. left click your mouse. open wizards. there is a
pcd2excel that will let you make your report into an excell file.
If you are talking about Data Page you can print to file using different print formats such as adobe distiller. If you do a search for data page report at top, you will find some others that a free online.
