PCdmis Qdas convertor

Hello all,

This is a long shot but no harm in trying I guess. I am using PCDMIS 2017 R2 along with the qdas convertor called with "/I" to automatically obtain the QDAS file, no operator input. My issue is that while working even in minimized view, the qdas converter can be modified by the operators even while running the programs from operator mode or even inspect. Is there a way to hide the qdas converter and that the operator will have no settings modifying power over it?

I am a bit desperate for an answer at this point and every input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance!

  • Hey! Are you opposed to moving up in versions of PC-DMIS? In later versions the Q-DAS Configurator was moved inside of PC-DMIS to make it easier to get your data to Q-DAS.

Maybe at some point we will do this but for the moment we do not have time to validate new PCdmis versions. The converter will do for the time but unfortunately if the operators can modify the settings it overcomplicates the security of our measurements :S It is a bit unfortunate that it does not have an ooperator mode like pcdmis...

I am trying all day to find a clever way to call the convertor "in disguise" but nothing came up for the moment :S I can't even find paid solutions.
