Disk Probe

I need to measure the very top of a pointy, sharp edge in the +Z direction. Can I use a disk probe to do this? Or can you only measure around the diameter of a disk probe?

Any chance of creating an intersection point from two lines? Or even a line at the intersection of two planes?
