I've built an Apex model with multiple analysis scenarios. Each scenario has about 9 load case events and each scenario is exported to its own bdf for solving in Nastran. After building and exporting, we decided we did not want to run through all the…
I've got 5 study scenarios, each with 10 to 20 different load cases (events). Is there any way to plot the max stresses for all parts in an assembly across multiple events, and (better yet), across multiple scenarios?
I can hide components that aren't of interest in a post-processing plot. But the legend and (more importantly to me) the max/min hot spot marker tool still see or reflect the plotted but hidden data in the hidden parts/assemblies. I'd like to be able…
Often, a low number is worse than a high number (i.e. composite strength ratio). I like for values that are trending toward "bad" to also trend toward red, not blue.
For example, in a fringe plot of stress or composite failure indices, I'd like to click on particular nodes to have the nodal values displayed there.
Short of this, is there a way to pick the values out of a file?
