Main Functionalities
- The installer directory of this version now C:\Program Files\ODYSSEE\CAE
- Version available for Windows 10.
ODYSSEE Quasar – Solver
This version includes:
- Quasar is a 64 bits Intel executable compatible with FLEXERA system (for Network License). The installation directory is now C:\Program Files\ODYSSEE\CAE\QuasarEngine_2.exe
- Default path for Quasar libraries is updated to C:\Program Files\ODYSSEE\CAE\Quasar\libs
ODYSSEE Nova – Optimizer
This version includes:
- Nova is a 64 bits Intel executable compatible with FLEXERA system (for Network License).
The installation directory is now C:\Program Files\ODYSSEE\CAE\Nova.exe
- A new type of variation in optimization has been added: binary variables (only 0 or 1).
- A new optimization algorithm has been implemented called mixed-integer (MISQP). It works for integer type of variables or for binary variables (0 or 1).
- Bug Fixes
- When a constraint is applied, the optimal point is now correctly displayed at the end of the log file. Before it only displayed the point with a minimum value for the evaluation function without check if the constraints were respected.
Note: In Lunar interface a double check was done, and the problem didn't exist.
ODYSSEE Lunar – GUI
- Lunar is a 64 bits Intel executable compatible with FLEXERA system (for Network License). The installation directory is now C:\Program Files\ODYSSEE\CAE\Lunar.exe
- The default working directory is now: \Documents\ODYSSEE\CAE\Lunar
- Prediction:
- The dataset name is now DataSet1 instead DataSet #1.
- Possibility to define a custom predictive script. A template qsr is now available in the working directory. Users can add their external function in the function CustomSolver. (See example Manual Appendix 4: Custom Solver).
- Radius parameter (RBF interpolator) can now be changed by the interface.
- Nugget effect parameter (Krigging interpolator) can be now changed by interface.
- Power parameter (InvD interpolator) can be now changed by the interface.
- For POD method, the RDA flag argument to display the Modal Content histogram plot is now an option to select via the interpolation configuration window.
- The SaveFiles argument used to calculate the learning files or to use already existing learning files is now an option to select via the interpolation configuration window.
- Fix on the order 2 regression algorithm.
- User Script:
- The compare methods script is now called <UserScript_Compare_ROM_methods.qsr> and it has been updated with the new parameters for rbf, krg and invd.
- Many comparisons are done per dataset. Each result of method tested is now saved in live in the log file.
- Consequently, it takes more time to run this User Script.
- Refer to the User Script chapter in the help manual to know the argument options to run with only 1 dataset or with a specific criteria error.
- Added a new User script <UserScript_Compare_Interpolator_methods.qsr>. This script tests all direct interpolators and compares exact result with the L2norm criteria. It returns the best settings per interpolator (RBF, INVD, KRG, ARBF).
- The compare methods script is now called <UserScript_Compare_ROM_methods.qsr> and it has been updated with the new parameters for rbf, krg and invd.
- Optimization:
- Fix on the automatic scripts generated by Lunar when a negative objective (value at) is asked.
- The binary variables type (only 0 or 1) has been added in list of the type choice.
- The mixed-integer (MISQP) algorithm has been added in list of the algorithm choice.
- If there is no variation of one parameter among the defined X, the parameter is not taken care in the optimization (the parameter is deselected in the configure parameters tab of the optimization window.
- Sensitivity:
- Fix on the histogram display when there are many X values.
- In parameters ‘effect, 3 methods are proposed (before 2): linear regression, second order regression and gradient.
- Parsing tool
- Added the tprint and sceforc output file in the substitution step for LS-Dyna parsing tool.
- Linked Pulsar (Generic Parser tool) at the interface in Tool menu Tab.
- Interface:
- Added a new logo.
- The default dataset name is now DataSet1 (before DataSet #1).
- In graph setting, the log scale applied on the Y-axis is available.
- The Y-axis is updated when we make a zoom on curves.
- Possibility of knowing the parameters of a Y curve (light blue curves) by clicking on it.
- Zoom on graph making a square + shift + click.
- Animation:
- Among the elementary data, Lunar can predict QUAD4_NL / QUAD_CN / QUADX4_FD from h5 animation file.
- Eigenvalues printed in the SUMMARY part from h5 file can be displayed.
- Fix on POD ARBF. There was a shift in the predicted geometry for some models.
- Help:
- New button in the interface to display the release note.
- The Help document has been updated.
Pulsar Evolutions:
This version includes:
- Installation directory:
- Pulsar is a 64 bits Intel executable compatible with FLEXERA system (for Network License)
C:\Program Files\ODYSSEE\CAE\Pulsar.exe - The Pulsar Help document is now located in
