Contact analysis problem

Hi there!! I asking a big help. I doing my master thesis with MSC Patran/Nastran and it consists in a non linear analysis because there are contact and plastic deformation. About contact I had any problem, i have been working for 1 month for that!!! I have already read the manual about this argument and I understand so much but i have problem yet! I make screenshots for each step with a very easy example for understand well this analysis. I attached the powerpoint with screenshots!!!!

Attached is contact status plot, you can see contact has been established the ball and cylinder in your earlier model.

Yeah, but I would like the cylinder to be deformed due to the crushing of the sphere on it

Scaled deformation plot is attached. Looks like there is no significant deformation of the structure. You may need to increase the applied load.

Yeah I would like anything like your picture. But maybe there is penetration between nodes also in your model. This is my problem, before I attached the model like follow picture, and i see the deformation about two shell, but there is penetration, and I can't have that

I had shown the scaled plot which is exaggerated deformation plot highlight the deformation of structure. If you plot in true scale you will not notice any penetration. You should not look at the scaled plot to check contact penetration.

Ok perfect, if the problem is only the scale is very good!! But when I go to Results->Deformation->Plot options the scale factor is already 1.0. What value I insert to look a real scale?

1.0 scale factor is the true scale plot, Refer the attached plot. I do not see any penetration here, Further the mesh is also not optimal for real applications. This is good to demonstrate basic contact setup.
