When I am calling out a true position of a feature and I use a datum with a MMC a Ø symbol appears. Do I put in the MMC of that datum or will pc-dmis figure that out for me by using the tolerances I give it? Thank you.

PC-D will need the nominal and tolerance for your datum feature(as seen on print) in order to calculate the bonus. I warn to use caution....Legacy is not computing that shift right, Xactmeasure is better for it, but still not perfect.
Could you possibly tell me what xactmeasure is asking for when it gives you that Ø symbol behind the datums. I use the cad models so dmis knows the nominals. As for the tolerances I go into the advance tab and make sure to put in the right + or - necessary. Might be a stupid question but I was just curious. I am relatively young and need the advice.
That symbol, in the datum frame, is for altering the allowable boundary of the datum. With it, you can force a smaller boundary condition than the actual MMB would allow.
MM? where ?? MMC will be next to the positional tolerance. MMB will be next to the DATUM. They are not the same thing. Adding a MMB bonus to the DATUMS because you have MMC listed next to the positional tolerance will allow you to possibly accept bad parts.
