Calculation of deviation when texture is on flateness

I have aligned one part and pln-1 in Y axis origin, after pln measurement when i report flatness of pln-1 with texture on options the meas value of y axis points does not match to the deviation. Could you please explain me the are different from each other and how the deviation is calculated.

Can you post the code, please.
As I understand, you compare the location and the form, which are two different data.
The Y deviation is the location of the plane's centroid, the flatness is the dispersion of hits along the plane vector.

The "flatness" and the "Y position" are not the same thing this is why you're getting different numbers

Are you talking about the MAX and MIN fitting algorithm vs the DEV of the Y axis? Are you using Legacy or Xact/Geometric Tolerance?

First off, you are are measuring perpendicularity. The textural analysis is based off on your current alignment. If the alignment isn't leveled to H, then you'll see some different deviations. However, most likely what you are seeing if the fitting algorithm in Xact Measure.

And again you shouldn't name features PLN-1, that's PLN minus 1. PLN_1 is what you want to name the feature, underscore only!

You need to show all the hits in your snap shot only the MIN is shown what is the MAX hit.
