Retarded Romer

Confused Created and ran a program last night before going home. Opened program today and ran it on 1 part and it worked fine, fixtured another part and it runs through the whole program to the last hit then asks to take hits that have already been taken. It also starts with hit 2 of 4 on plane 3 ?? If I do that it asks for the last point then goes to hit 2 of 4 on plane 3 again. it will keep doing this and not end. ..............Alien
  • There's an any order feature measurement option that sounds like it is on. Turn it off. I can't remember how but either someone on the forum will or call tech support. Meanwhile I think it will still work it just allows you to take your measurements out of order.
  • I dont have a problem checking out of order but it keeps asking me to check the same 2 features over and over.......tried it about 10 different times and the program doesnt end ???

I tried another program and that seemed to run OK........I am deleting this one and going to re-write it. Still like to know what caused it if anybody thinks they know. Thanks

+1 - corrupted program, seen it before. Did you make a back-up copy? Saves time rather than re-writing an entire program - good habit to develop. HTH
  • It was a pretty small program so I didnt keep it. I did write it all down and compared it to the new one I replaced it with. New one works fine and seems exactly the same as the old one. ??? computers Neutral face
  • Press F5 then in the GENERAL TAB there is a value for ANY ORDER EXECUTE TOLERANCE. To turn this off set it to 0 (ZERO). I wish this was the default for PC-DMIS Portable and if someone wanted it then they could turn it ON (hopefully the right person reads this).
