When I run my part through, normally, it sends the stats to Datapage at the end of the program. Now, I'm getting an error message: "Cant open dbd File - Error 5". HELP!
In the Database directory (not Datapage, but the DATABASE) there will be two files, VISTA.TAF and LOCKMGR.BDL and these two files can be deleted, they will be re-created when you open DPEDITOR. If you are nervous, re-name them and try it.

Did you try deleting/re-nameing those two files I listed?
It won't allow me to delete them. I get a "Cannot delete LOCKMGR.BDL: Access Denied" error message. I will try renaming them.
That tells me that SOMEONE has Datapage open (or Datapage THINKS that someone does). Is this a network install of Datapage? You may have a RUINED database. Re-boot the PC and try again, that will eliminate any possible 'external' sources of the problem.
We have certain parts of PC Dmis that are networked, but Datapage only runs on the PC itself, in the C:// drive. I have Datapage set up for different parts, and when I try to open each folder, I get the same error message. I assume all the files are corrupt then. I will try an reboot the PC, but I have a feeling all the files are corrupt. Before I went out of town, everything was working fine. But I come back on Monday, and it starts giving me error messages. Weird.
I rebooted the computer, and still get the same error message. I created a TEST file for Datapage, to see if Datapage maybe acting up. I created it in Editor, and opened it in RT, and it seems to work fine. Is it safe to assume all my other files are lost or corrupt then?
No it is the one data base the system is locked onto if you could open another file now you can unlock the other data bases. Go to dp editor and open the data base you need to unlock then unlock it. JC

no they are not do not delete them they can be fixed. JC If you are unable to unlock then re-boot do not open data page or editor go into data base files and delete what Matt has said it should let you if you do not have it open do not open program either. JC
When I go to unlock the file, I get this and DPEDITOR error message:

If you choose CLOSE, your application will terminate."
When I choose either CLOSE or IGNORE, I get the same error message:
"APPLICATION ERROR
DPEDITOR caused a General Protection Fault in module DPEDITOR.EXE at 0047:1436.
Choose Close. DPEDITOR will close."
When you reboot can you go to that data base it is locked onto and delete the lockmanager file? Do you have more than 1 CMM? They need to be out of the programs and data base also. JC
