Just converted over from Datapage to Datapage+ to run with my 2012MR1 upgrade. Slowly learning how this work but there is one question, why does it take so long at the end of my program to transfer the data over to the database. Both are located locally. See the attachement. It takes up to 2 minutes.
TKing just started using it, the 1st version of database uses a different kind of database and the data was sent and stored on our network, this is locally and its called Full SQL Server, I know you can put it on our network but my IT perfers this one locally. I shouldn't have hardly any thing in it. Thanks for the responce.
I'm hoping the right person sees this and can elaborate more on this. I have not done this in a while so it's not on the tip of my tongue at the moment, but there is a way to set it up so that your DataImporter will dump the data as you're running your program. Then you shouldn't have to wait, it should be dumping the last of the data shortly after your program finishes.
If you using an external command to send the data to datapage+
make sure the No wait button is checked.
Then go to the start menu go down to datapage+
in there is a folder called tools
within that folder start the data importer
third section from the bottom
adjust the auto check.
