Everytime I test my Datapage+ 2013 connection to my Excel Spreadsheet PC DMIS 2103 crashes. I am on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine with 32-bit office. I tried setting my ODBC connections inside the %system%/Syswow/ folder as well. I even went so far as to redirect the control panel settings to the %system%/SYSWOW/ folder. Still PC-DMIS crashes every time I test the connection.
Interesting that pcdmis crashes. I just ran through all my ODBC installed databases (none of which are DP+) and for each one a message about not being compatible was generated. No crash. I was using v2013RC build #515 on Win7 x64 OS. Pcdmis does check to see if the tables required are in the database.
Yeah, I tried this a few versions ago and didn't see any kind of crash. I think there are some details missing about how this is setup.
