System error 127

I am getting the Database System Error -127 again and I can't figure out what's going on. I deleted the xstats.temp file which always fixed this in the past. But what's happening is when I click OK in the error dialog box (several times) it starts sending stats to a different folder with another part name than the one in the program. Then the error message pops up again and starts sending stats to yet another folder. The stats path in the program is correct, it worked in the past and it hasn't changed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • IF he is still using V.35 & V3.7 as his info states, then he is still using "old" datapage (3.32 or some such).

If that is the case, then XSTATS11.TMP is located in the INSTALL directory of Pcdmis, NOT Datapage.

Also, check for more STATS/ON commands in the program.

If there is "BAD" data in the XSTATS11.TMP file, it will never get removed, UNLESS you remove it yourself. Either by correcting the path in the file or simply by deleting the file.

Use your computer's search function and search for it, then delete ALL instances of it that are found.
