I wrote a program based off of a CAD model on our offline seat that uses 2010MR2. I saved it as a "2010" version, since that's the program that I'll be using it in when I'm out on the CMM. Everything opens up fine, but any auto-feature that I had created is colored red. Also, the part acts like it is up in the home position, even when I place our fixture recall at the beginning of the program. Any suggestions?
Does the CMM seat have the same "level" of pc-dmis that the offline does?
That is full "CAD++" or limited "pro" or similar. If the offline seat has options the CMM set does not that could be the reason for the red autofeatures.
Your 2010 version may have been downloaded from the ftp site as opposed to the regular wilcox download area? The reason I say this is that you need a "toolkit" module that was not included in some versions at the ftp site.
...and your asking me a question about the Wilcox website like I should/would have an answer? Sorry their site is effed up but here is the location that I was talking about (and you know it)...
had the same issue (red auto features) and the toolkit fixed it.

I wouln't expect to pay $$$$$ extortion every year to fix a recall problem on my car and have the dealership not know how to fix it!

am still trying to wrap my head around what constitutes a 'fix' vs. what is an 'enhancement'. oh, wait. it used to be listed on the Wilcox site.

to my simpleton self? a FIX is something THEY screwed up (bent rim, loose pylon) and they should fix for FREE.
an ENHANCEMENT is something NEW they conjure up in the hopes it garners "oohs and aahs" (teakwood cigarette lighter knob, smileys on the drop-down oxygen masks...etc) and customer PAYS if they want the cool new stuff.
BUT.... it seems you can't get the FIXES, without paying for the ENHANCEMENTS.
Hexagoon thinking: "ok, let's just call it an SMA and include EVERYTHING. we'll sell thousands!"
