Fixture moved

Hello,
I will just get right to the point. I had to make my fixture higher up off the stone. I have already made the program. But, now that I have moved the fixture, when the program gets to DCC mode, it keeps going back to where the fixture was. How do I measure the manual alignment to change to the new height?

Not sure which version you're using, as for my software I do the following. Click "Clear Marked", "Mark All", and yes to mark the manual alignment features, then execute.

Do you take hits on the fixture for manual Align? Then your next Align on the part?

How did you initially align it?
As mentioned, if you unmarked the manual alignment, mark it and run the program using the manual alignment.

I never unmark manual alignments. I use Comments and flow control to ask if the manual alignment needs to be run.
Skip the code if no
I also use external alignments if there is a fixture that I can align without the part. Recall that into my part program, and operators never touch the joystick.

Make sure your manual alignments are not highlighted (marked) and run the manual alignment again. This will "find" your part in the new location. Make sure setup instructions are changed accordingly. Then unmark your manual alignments if that is the process you choose at your facility. Otherwise do what John said and do a flow control with labels.

If you know how much the part moved from the original location you could do a paste with pattern of the entire program and then delete the original program. Do this on a copy of the program not the original.

I should have mentioned, it does not seem to recognize the move after being prompted if it was ok to make manual features. Even if I say yes, and then run the program, the DCC portion goes back to the original position. @Wolfman, I align directly to the part not the fixture. It seems like it should update the theos and the noms when I do the manual marked all....

Are you sure the DCC features are recalling the Manual Alignment?

I will look back and make sure the DCC is using the manual alignments. I never thought of that, shame on me...It has happened a few times so that would make sense.
