When you use auto calibrate can you choose the probe angles you want to calibrate? I have a probe with like 20 articulations on file. Job i am running only needs 3. Machine does not have probe changer so i am manualy changing probe to measure small holes. I put auto cali in program so that i can hit enter and walk away to work on other machine. I assume that you can set what probes to auto cal in that unit ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Go into the calibration window and select the tips you want (or hit mark used), then click measure, then type a name into the parameter set box and click save. Then when you create your auto calibrate command you can select that parameter set so it only checks the tips you use in that program.
1) You could select Measure, select your original parameter set, then click Mark Used then just select Save and it will overwrite your original.
2) You may have like builds at each workstation but the files are unique, so yes you need to create your parameter sets at each workstation individually.
3) Setup Clearance is a general setting that works on ALL probes, not just the 1 you set it up in.
Now if you mean, prehit/retract and move/touch speed then yes, those are captured and stored in the parameter sets individually.
4) The only time you should answer "YES" is to locate with the Master_Probe. Everything else would be "NO" in order to tie the tips all together.
