In modern production or assembly, several measured values are usually recorded and automatically saved at measuring stations. The storage can be decentralized on the PC or centralized in the network. Often it is not possible to intervene in the production process due to the complexity and the large number of measuring points. However, the measured values recorded should be displayed online (in real time) in different representations depending on their scope and significance. This enables the operator to see whether certain negative process conditions are accumulating and to initiate appropriate corrective measures. This task is solved by O-QIS - Monitoring. The different measuring systems write the data in Q-DAS ®ASCII transfer format into a data pool. O-QIS - Monitoring permanently looks into this data pool and updates the display when new measured values are added. In order to obtain a clear screen display, the number of measured values displayed online can be limited according to the FIFO principle (First In-First Out).
Monitoring This document provides an overview of how to use O-QIS Monitoring. |
