Q-DAS Launcher How to open DFQ files with qs-STAT, solara.MP or other Q-DAS application has been a recurring question on the hotline in the past. Unfortunately, the operating system can only associate one application with a file type that will open the file on double-click. This is why the Q-DAS Launcher was developed. The Q-DAS Launcher can be linked to the DFQ and DFD files during installation - or subsequently. In this way, double-clicking on a DFQ or DFD file will open the Q-DAS Launcher, where a Q-DAS product can be specifically selected to analyse the data. The Q-DAS Launcher is the central launch platform for starting the various Q-DAS applications or selecting a different release per product. Link to: Q-DAS Launcher |

Ribbons The ribbon bar is the basic tool for working with the Q-DAS product. It consists mainly of tabs that display commands, options and functions in groups. The ribbon bar is dynamic, meaning that the components available depend on the product, user group, and context. The default ribbon does not include all commands. Some of the commands have become redundant due to customer requests and restructuring of various versions. How to customise and use the Ribbon Bar is explained in separate topic. Link to: Ribbon Bar A separate topic explains the icons in the ribbon bar. The topic is based on the menu navigation (ribbon bar) of the Q-DAS Product Line Desktop Products. An overview of the folder structure used and the reports included is described in a separate topic. Link to: Default Reports |
